About Teddy

Teddy's love for music began at an early age, taking up piano lessons from piano professor Brianna Matzke. Brianna noticed teddy's ear and love for the music early on, and helped nurture his growth as a musician until college. Teddy also began to take up percussion in middle school, playing the drum set at home and percussion in concert band. During the pandemic, Teddy took up the electric bass and practiced religiously, eventually meeting teacher Aaron Jacobs, who introduced him to jazz and the upright bass, which has pushed him to where he is today, studying jazz at UC's College Conservatory of Music and playing gigs around town with Cincinnati's top caliber musicians.
